No one ever expects to be in an accident but there is a good chance that it will happen to each of us at one time or another. So, do you know what to do (and not do) after you’ve been in an accident? It’s the subject of this week’s podcast.
It can be hard for a person to maintain their cool after an accident but it is important to do so, if possible. Assess the situation and summon medical attention if need be - for yourself or others.
Then, figure out if the authorities need to be called. Even if there are no injuries, they will probably need to be called if there is any property damage.
And finally, you need to remember that a law enforcement officer may choose to ticket someone. Do what you can to keep that from happening to you. Again, none of this is guaranteed but if you think about it in advance, you may be able to mitigate the harm later

This website may supply general information about the law but it is for informational purposes only. This does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not meant to constitute legal advice, so the good news is we’re not billing you by the hour for reading this. The bad news is that you shouldn’t act upon any of the information without consulting a qualified professional attorney who will, probably, bill you by the hour.

If God didn’t want groundhogs to chew on O2 sensors, he wouldn’t have made them so damn tasty!
